Corpus Tennis Loses Great Friend

Long-time CCTA Board member and tennis referree, Billy Fuls, passed away, Thursday, June 7th.  He is survived by his son, Kevin, and his wife, Thelma.  Billy was a marine biologist and taught biology and anatomy classes at DelMar.  He served the tennis community here and across the state as a tournament referree, as well as an active player.  Billy received the distinguished Umpire of the Year Award in 2011-2012.

The CCTA offers our condolences to  Billy’s family and our thanks for sharing him with us for so many years.  He was a great friend to all of us and a mainstay of our organization.  He will be sorely missed.
