The 61st Annual Thanksgiving Tournament boasted many local champions and a great weekend of fun for all. Despite some strong winds, especially on Saturday, some excellent tennis was played by juniors and adults. All of the winners received traditional "turkey" trophies. The 61st Annual Thanksgiving Open for Juniors and Adults will be held at HEB Tennis Center this weekend. Play will start at 5 pm on Friday, November 18 and continue through Sunday evening. There are 32 draws and 252 entries altogether. All levels for adults and ages for juniors are being played as well as specials such as Father-Son and Mother-Daughter. The HEB Summer Championship Junior Major Zone was held August 6-7th at HEB Tennis Center and courts throughout the area.
